Those who have been following me for some time know that since 2017 I have spent long periods in the high jungle of Peru, collecting, as part of my project to safeguard oral traditions ‘My Indigenous Roots’, news, stories, curiosities, histories and customs of specific communities as well as music and information on ancestral medicine remedies.
Among the various ancestral remedies that I have recorded and partly even tried out for myself, ‘EL BAÑO DE FLORECIMIENTO’, which can be translated as ‘The Replenishing Bath’, is one that has always intrigued me since I first visited Peru in 1990. I had neither filmed nor experienced it until last September when I visited the native Renacimiento community of the wise Mankori, an ethnic Asheninka.

In the video, the sage also explains the effects of this ancient indigenous therapy. The video is in Spanish while the Italian and English versions have subtitles.

Quienes me siguen desde tiempo saben que desde 2017 paso largas temporadas en la selva alta del Perú recopilando, como parte de mi proyecto de salvaguarda de tradiciones orales “Mis raíces indígenas”, noticias, relatos, curiosidades, historias y costumbres de comunidades específicas, así como música e informaciones sobre remedios medicinales ancestrales.
Entre los diversos remedios ancestrales que he grabado y en parte incluso probado por mí mismo, el “baño de florecimiento” es uno de los que más me ha fascinado desde que visité Perú por primera vez en 1990. Nunca había podido filmarlo, y mucho menos experimentarlo hasta el pasado septiembre, cuando me encontré con el sabio Mankori en su comunidad nativa Renacimiento de Kivinaki, en la selva central de Perú.

En el vídeo también el sabio nos explica los efectos de esta antigua terapia indígena. El vídeo está en español, mientras que las versiones en italiano e inglés contarán con subtítulos.
