Located in a remote area of the Porsanger Kommune, in Northern Norway, the Trollholmsund is famous for its particular rock formation bearing one of the oldest and strangest legend like almost all the mountains having in this part of the globe…Trollholmsund is part of the area nearby Stabburnes and you can drive till about 2,5 Km then following a well maintained trail you can reach the rock formation in about 15 minutes, there’s no need of particular shoes but strong normal shoes or better hiking shoes are suggested. You can stay at Stabbursdalen resort and enjoy the interesting Stabbursnes National Park, for birdwatching but also salmon fishing, etc.
